Community Commitment

ModSpace is committed to making a difference for our customers, the communities where we live, and places near and far in dire need of emergency relief.

To that end, ModSpace has partnered with numerous organizations to donate our time, resources and modular building products to make a difference where and when they are needed most. This company-wide pledge aims to support the Red Cross though regular fundraising and the rapid deployment of our modular buildings to aid in emergency response and rebuilding in the face of tragedy.

In Our Community

From our Canadian Headquarters in Brampton, ON, and across our network of 80 branch offices, ModSpace and its employees have raised funds and donated time for the betterment of those less fortunate.

Our Commitment in Action

ModSpace is making a difference: Along with the generous support from our employees, ModSpace has provided sponsorship through the Friends of Honduran Children Scholarship Program. Our sponsorship ensures each child sponsored receives an education, medical care, vocational training and life skills—we are helping to meet their basic needs and empower them to break the cycle of deprivation and hardship.

ModSpace has also contributed to this program because we believe that wide-eyed young adults deserve a high school education. The scholarship program covers school fees, books, uniform and travel. In a developing nation like Honduras, an education can be a child’s only chance to escape a life of poverty.

ModSpace helps our athletes go for gold: Leading up to the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, BC, ModSpace partnered with the Canadian Athletes Now Fund (CAN Fund) in order to provide our athletes with the opportunity to focus on success instead of focusing on unnecessary financial hurdles. Our contributions directly supported Canadian athletes and their training, coaching, nutrition and travel. We will continue to sponsor the training of Canadian athletes for the upcoming 2012 Summer Games in London, England.

ModSpace racing for the Red Cross: The ModSpace #1 Ford is racing for the ARCA Series championship, and donating all the winnings to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.

2010 Tour du Rouge: ModSpace returned as a key sponsor in 2010. In 2009 this 512-mile bicycle tour raised more than $500,000 for Red Cross chapters from Houston to New Orleans for continued Hurricane Katrina relief.

In January 2010, ModSpace pledged $1 million in modular buildings to Haiti to help emergency crews and displaced victims during the devastating 7.0-magnatude earthquake.

In the days following hurricanes Ike, Katrina and Rita, we were there to support relief efforts with temporary modular buildings for much-needed emergency medical facilities and housing* for displaced victims and emergency crews.

Today, we continue to support rebuilding with permanent modular buildings that can be up and running sometimes 50% faster than structures built using traditional construction methods.
