Full-Time Territory Sales Manager – Prince George
Summary of Position
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for identifying, prospecting, and closing business opportunities across the ModSpace product offerings and industry segments in an assigned territory.>
Essential Responsibilities
- Direct ownership of revenue generated in territory through account/territory management for the sale/lease of all asset and project types – custom and fleet, ancillary and value-added products.
- Maintain and aggressively share of existing client base in assigned territory; develop a viable pipeline of new business.
- Gain comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape and market and how/where ModSpace fits and can grow.
- Identify, implement, record, and measure regular, continuous prospecting efforts throughout territory to grow market share. Identify top 20 targets. Utilize SalesForce.com to prospect and record lead generation, communication and conversion.
- Develop and implement key account plans and strategies in cooperation with National Accounts or Government departments.
- Generate professional quotations and proposals as necessary and in conjunction with Operations and Construction Services.
- Conduct regular meaningful client face to face visits for sales, lease and up-sell potential.
- Demonstrate high level of communication and integration with operational teammates and construction services support.
- Participate in local networking organizations and opportunities.
- Know your branch fleet: availability and readiness.
- Conduct on site client transactions at the branch location.
- This role may require involvement in operational type duties and tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 years sales, operations, construction/fleet management, or real estate experience.
- Minimum of 3 years outside sales experience or equivalent training/experience or ModSpace Inside Sales Associate Program Graduate.
- Demonstrated skills developing long-term customer partnerships (customer acquisition, development, and retention).
- Demonstrated skills in teamwork effectiveness across all functional areas.

Full–Time Fleet Inspector - Edmonton, AB location
Essential Responsibilities
- Conduct inbound and outbound inspections of modular fleet.
- Log required repairs and inspections for units in computerized fleet management software, develop and adhere to repair budgets.
- Photograph and post pictures of the inspected units (using the branch digital camera).
- Confirm, change, add, and update unit specifications and floor plans utilizing a variety of computer software.
- Initialize customer contact on all damage related to inbound inspections of units. Assess and estimate cost for charge back purposes and commuicate to customers.
- Take service calls from customers, dispatch service technicians and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction. Assess nature of cost (cost to customer or cost to ModSpace).
- Ensure correct equipment availability, configuration and orientations for customer pick-up or delivery.
- Enter job scope and time into computer and complete inspection and repair paperwork.
- Issue purchase orders, reconcile purchase orders, invoices and rebill customers as appropriate.
- Assist the Fleet Manager with his/her assigned duties as required.
- Act as backup to dispatcher and or maintenance representative as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Has minimum of 2 years of general maintenance/carpentry and construction industry experience.
- Has intermediate level computer skills and have the ability to master integrated fleet management software.

Full–Time Project Manager - Edmonton, AB location
Essential Responsibilities
- Site Manage specific projects.
- Track and manage pre-established project budget through final competition.
- Drive cost savings and value engineering to reduce project cost and increase margin.
- Review contract documents to insure adherence to the applicable requirements, Provincial and local building codes.
- Insure project documentation and MS reporting processes are maintained.
- Assist in the selection of vendors.
- Be assigned to projects to evaluate / manage the progress and costs.
- Review contractor quotations and complete purchase requisitions (if required).
- Identify problem and/or risk issues and recommend solutions.
- Manage project schedules using Microsoft Project.
- Insure change orders are expedited and maintain change order log.
- Drive construction and customer satisfaction as they relate to project execution and installation.
- Provide coordination of site and off-site activities for MS personnel and vendors including publication and distribution of project schedules, coordination and sequencing of work activities and material flows and coordination with customer’s and other non-MS vendors as related to MS scopes and responsibilities.
- Project communications including reporting cost, schedule, and provide project status updates to customer and various project stakeholders.
- Monitor and document vendor’s job site safety programs as required.
- Submit design review reports complete with updated Packages and evaluate progress and audit costs.
- Correspondence with PWGSC and all sub-contractors complete with all daily reporting.
- Formalize any bid packages necessary, ensure that all phases of the work are included and no overlap exists, and submit to MS for approval (if required).
- Perform final review of any tender or bid documents and submit reports and updated schedules to MS.
- Submit weekly Progress Reports tailored to ModSpace requirements.
- Procurement of sub-trades and review of quotes based on knowledge of local market conditions.
- Develop efficient schedules utilizing Microsoft Project for phased tendering of each work package and early construction for MS approval and develop Critical Path Methods (Gant Chart) .
- Coordinate all construction activities with established MS team.
- Track pre-established construction budget and report project costs through to final completion.
- Work with MS team to coordinate the installation process.
- Assist in the procurement of equipment.
- Schedule “Substantial Completion” dates.
Requirements
- College Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture or equivalent prefered.
- years experience in construction management or related field. education may be considered as equivalant.
